Fishermen's cove is a small, quiet and reserved Beach Resort, characterized by a friendly atmosphere,
including 12 bungalows. Its restaurant serves typical Italian food, excellent fish, home-made pasta and
bread and, for those who wish to taste local typical specialities, Philipino food is also available.
It is fully surrounded by vegetation, leaving nature unscathed and, possibly, adjusting to it. It is
located in a sheltered position, deep in a small picturesque cove, very close to four beautiful wild
secluded beaches. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the little village of Puerto Galera - the Galleons
Harbour – that betrays its Spanish influence. It is located in the northern part of the Mindoro Island,
at the centre of the Philippine archipelago.
Thanks to its special geographical position, it is a destination suitable for people fond of trekking,
hiking, diving and beach sunbathing.
Boat trips are organized on a daily basis. It takes only a few minutes by boat to reach different
diving and snorkelling sites. After the morning dive we usually stop on a beach for a few hours – every
day a new beach is chosen – for a fish barbecue or for a picnic. In the afternoon we are ready to go for
another dive or for a swim. Boat trips are organized in such a way to suit both scuba divers’ and non scuba
divers’ needs and they allow all our guests to visit several beautiful beaches around Puerto Galera.
